Canary Capital looks set to win approval for its Litecoin and HBAR ETFs. The crypto investment firm submitted the final details to the regulator on Tuesday, Balchunas said. In his view, these are usually the last tweaks before the official launch.
The submitted changes add a management fee of 0.95 percent and assign the tickers LTCC for the Litecoin product and HBR for the HBAR fund. Balchunas notes that the applications look nearly wrapped up, though the ongoing government shutdown still brings uncertainty.
Since October 1, a large portion of the U.S. government has been shut down due to the lack of a budget agreement. The SEC is operating with limited resources and will not approve new crypto ETFs for the time being. Still, with looser listing rules expected in the coming weeks and months, several altcoin ETFs are expected to debut on the market.
