Entrepreneur Tim Draper sticks with his earlier forecast. According to the billionaire, Bitcoin must reach 250,000 US dollars before the next halving occurs.
In a recent tweet, billionaire Tim Draper restated his price expectation for the best-known cryptocurrency. In November, he predicted a Bitcoin price of 250,000 dollars. Now he added that this price target, in his view, "will surely happen before the next Bitcoin halving," and thus before Q2 2024.
Original prediction did not pan out
His original View post on X saying Bitcoin would break the price barrier in 2022 did not come to pass, he admits. Still, the venture capitalist is keeping his spirits up. In his previous assessment, he emphasized the possibility of using Bitcoin as a global currency. And he predicted widespread adoption of the coin. Whether he will be right in the future remains to be seen.
