Binance Expands With Options on 1,000 U.S. Stocks and ETFs
The new contracts run through Nest Trading Limited under ADGM oversight and are not available to U.S. users. Binance is continuing to push into TradFi derivatives alongside crypto.

Key Takeaways
- Binance is adding options on more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs through Nest Trading Limited, under the supervision of Abu Dhabi Global Market.
- The options are physically settled; U.S. users do not have access, and retail customers can buy calls and puts.
- Binance is further expanding into traditional financial products, while rival Bybit is also preparing new stock options.
Binance is adding options on more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, while the crypto exchange continues to expand its lineup around traditional markets. The new contracts run through Nest Trading Limited, Binance's broker-dealer under the supervision of the Abu Dhabi Global Market. The products are not available to U.S. users.
New Options Structure
The options are physically settled. That means that when users exercise them, they receive or deliver the underlying stocks or ETFs, which are held through Alpaca on behalf of Binance users. Nest acts as the introducing broker and routes the orders to U.S.-registered Alpaca Securities for execution, clearing, settlement, and custody.
Eligible retail users can buy calls and puts. Binance says the maximum loss is limited to the premium paid. The crypto company also expects more stock options listings to follow later.
Growth in TradFi Derivatives
The move fits into a broader shift at Binance toward traditional financial products. In June, the company already rolled out trading in more than 7,000 U.S.-listed stocks and ETFs for customers outside the United States. Binance also offers bStocks, tokenized securities, and equity-linked perpetual futures alongside its crypto services. The expansion of bStocks also shows that Binance is moving further into tokenized stocks and other TradFi products.
Trading in these kinds of products has grown fast this year. In August, volume in TradFi perpetual futures on Binance came to about $433.4 billion (€374 billion), compared with $29.5 billion (€25.4 billion) in January. In the first five months of 2026, total trading in TradFi-related perpetuals was already worth about 11% of all perpetual futures, with a cumulative value of more than $1.1 trillion (€0.9 trillion).
Competition on the Trading Floor
Binance is not alone in this shift. Bybit plans to launch 24/7 options on stock perpetuals on September 17, starting with SpaceX and Nvidia. That product is set up differently from Binance's physically settled options, because Bybit is focusing on synthetic equity perpetuals settled in USDT.
For European crypto followers, this shows how major exchanges are increasingly offering products that go beyond spot trading and classic crypto derivatives. The line between crypto and traditional markets is getting thinner, even though the contract types, settlement, and access still vary widely by platform.
