Bitcoin ETFs Hit Record High: $50 Billion Invested, Led by BlackRock, etc
Just a year and a half after the January 2024 launch, more than $50 billion has been invested in Bitcoin ETFs for the first time.

Only a year and a half after the January 2024 launch, more than $50 billion has been invested in Bitcoin ETFs for the first time. Especially the funds from giants like BlackRock, Fidelity and Bitwise continue to attract solid money; in recent days, large sums flowed in again flowed in.
But these spot ETFs are only the tip of the iceberg. If you include all digital investment products, like exchange-traded products (ETPs), the total assets under management reach a whopping $176.68 billion. That’s a 3.7 percent rise from May, according to a new report from Fineqia that BTC-ECHO has obtained.
The vast majority, about $153 billion, is in Bitcoin-based ETPs. BlackRock’s flagship, the iShares Bitcoin Trust, is already a cash cow: the fund is generating more management fee income than BlackRock’s own S&P 500 ETF.
And attention isn’t limited to Bitcoin either. Ethereum funds are also currently going through a capital raise. Crypto analyst Arthur Hayes says that’s just the beginning: he predicts ETH will break through the $10,000 mark in the near future.
The race for crypto capital is therefore far from over.
