Bitcoin coming to 175,000 ATMs soon?
ATMs where you can buy Bitcoin and other crypto have been around for a while.

ATMs where you can buy Bitcoin and other crypto have been around for a while. But now Digitalmint is looking to make cryptocurrencies available on conventional ATMs through a partnership.
The collaboration between ATM operator Hyosung and DigitalMint aims to make Bitcoin available on classic ATMs in the United States. This should be possible through a new API integration.
"We're excited to collaborate with Hyosung America to make crypto services easily and securely accessible at their 175,000 ATMs in the United States and beyond," says Don Wyper, CEO of DigitalMint.
Hyosung is building an ATM app store to offer multiple services. DigitalMint is reportedly the first to offer crypto through this system.
"With the App Store, any ATM operator using our software can subscribe to apps like DigitalMint and download them directly to use — opening up new revenue streams," says Brad Nolan, Head of Marketing for Hyosung America.
Hyosung America is the US subsidiary of the Korean parent and describes itself as the "largest ATM operator in the US." When it comes to Bitcoin ATMs, the US is far and away in first place. With the integration of Bitcoin services into normal ATMs, that number could rise even further.
