BlackRock's Bitcoin Trust Wins ETF Award

The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) from BlackRock was named the 'Best New ETF' at the annual ETF.com conference on April 23.

IBIT is not only one of the most successful index funds across the entire ETF market, but it also holds its own among the ten other Bitcoin Spot ETFs. Since trading began in January 2024, about $40.6 billion, or more than 575,000 BTC, has flowed into the ETF flowed.

Also in the Ethereum Spot ETF space, BlackRock leads, with four billion dollars of inflow.

BlackRock CEO Larry Fink was once openly critical of crypto, but he now concedes he was mistaken about Bitcoin. Even more: he recently predicted that Bitcoin could eventually supplant the U.S. dollar.
