With a new airdrop campaign for Season 2, the NFT platform Blur aims to reward loyalty and attract more OpenSea users.
Further rewards totaling hundreds of millions of US dollars await NFT traders on the new Blur marketplace. They will be distributed to users in the form of airdrops of the BLUR token. The platform announced this yesterday in a tweet at the start of "Season 2".
The NFT newcomer made waves last week with its brilliant launch on Ethereum. According to DappRadar, Blur's trading volume is already surpassing that of OpenSea. Part of the reason for the success may be the platform's three airdrop campaigns so far.
The upcoming airdrop is intended to reward NFT traders for their loyalty. They will receive a "loyalty score" based on their activity on the platform. The amount of the next airdrop can then be determined based on this score.
For example, someone who uses no other platform to trade and lists their NFTs can achieve a loyalty score of 100 percent.
The popularity of the new platform has now pushed OpenSea, the former undisputed leader, to act. For a short period, the 2.5 percent trading fee was waived, OpenSea, the competing NFT marketplace, said in a tweet.
