CEO of Chain

Despite the market deteriorating, an NFT from the Bored Ape Yacht Club fetched 800 ether — about $927,000 at the time of purchase. The NFT, considered highly rare, was sold by Chain CEO Deepak Thapliyal, who earlier this year bought a CryptoPunk View post on X. The buyer thanked him on View post on X: "Thanks for the good deal".

A deteriorating market

Recently, Bored Ape No. 8585 in October reached a sale price of more than $1 million. The NFT market has clearly lost momentum in recent months. While NFTs like Bored Apes or CryptoPunks still remain among the most stable in value, prices of the so‑called blue‑chip NFTs have recently fallen to a yearly low.
