The long-awaited Cardano (ADA) hard fork Vasil is coming. IOHK announced that all major obstacles have been cleared.
With the highly anticipated Vasil upgrade, Cardano (ADA) is gearing up for the next hard fork. Input Output (IOHK), the company behind Cardano, has now announced that all three milestones essential to launching the upgrade have been reached.
View post on X said the Charles Hoskinson-founded company that 39 exchanges have been upgraded, that more than 93% of mainnet blocks are now produced via the Vasil node, and that the biggest Cardano dApps have successfully tested the hard fork.
The exchanges include Binance, eToro, Huobi, Bitpanda, and Kucoin. They account for more than 87% of the ADA in circulation. According to the project's official website, of the largest crypto exchanges, only Coinbase remains to be reached. With these three milestones achieved, nothing stands in the way of the hard fork, the report states.
