The wait's over: Cardano's most challenging upgrade yet, "Vasil", went live last night.

After several delays, the long-awaited hard fork "Vasil" went live last night following the completion of Cardano's 364th blockchain epoch. Input Output (IOHK), the company behind Cardano, announced a few hours ago View post on X that the mainnet was successfully forked via the HFC event.

The tech behind theView post on X enables performing the upgrade without interruption. The new features on the blockchain, however, are not yet fully implemented. Only with the start of the 366th epoch on September 27 will the Vasil changes be accessible to everyone.
