Cardano founder eyes Bitcoin at $250,000 in 2025
If Charles Hoskinson has his way, Bitcoin would climb to $250,000 by the end of this year.

If Charles Hoskinson has his way, Bitcoin could reach $250,000 by year-end. That was stated by the Cardano founder in a View post on Xwith CNBC.
The reason for this includes, among other things, the potential adoption of stablecoins by tech giants like Microsoft or Apple. According to Hoskinson, the U.S. is fully embracing stablecoins. President Donald Trump has named the topic a priority.
More: the rise in Bitcoin's price, according to Hoskinson, is also being driven by monetary policy. Specifically, he says: “Markets will stabilize a bit and adjust to the new normal. Then the Fed will cut rates, and cheap money will come available quickly that will flow into crypto.”
The falling inflation “gives the U.S. central bank some room to adjust rates soon,” says BTC-ECHO market expert Stefan Lübeck. On May 6 and 7, the Federal Reserve under Jerome Powell will hold the next meeting on rate policy—and a possible cut.
Right now Bitcoin is around $79,000 and has fallen 2.5% in the last 24 hours. The digital gold has a market cap of $1.57 trillion. What could be moving BTC now? Read this analysis: Is the current price rebound sustainable?
The cryptocurrency developed by Hoskinson continues to lose value. With a nearly 17% drop, ADA is firmly in the red this month. Compared with its 2021 peak, the price is now down about 81%.
Still, Hoskinson believes Cardano will eventually catch up to Bitcoin and Ethereum—within ten to twenty years.
