Cathie Wood predicts Bitcoin will be worth $1 million by 2030

While the crypto market is currently riding a bear rally, Ark Invest CEO Cathie Wood isn’t deterred. Her prediction: Bitcoin will reach $1 million by 2030.

The founder and CEO of the financial firm Ark Invest, Cathie Wood, expects Bitcoin’s price to rise to $1 million by 2030. She explained this in an interview with Bloomberg.

Wood affirmed that institutions are entering now. Specifically, she said, "they see this slide from about $70,000 to around $20,000 as an opportunity to step into a new asset class."

She says this interest was sparked about four years ago by investment advisory Cambridge Associates.

According to Wood’s theory, Bitcoin could rise to $1 million by 2030, a gain of more than 4,600% from the current price.

Currently BTC is trading at $20,595. Cathie Wood has been advocating for Bitcoin for some time, even though her Ark Innovation fund fell about 70% in the bear market.
