Are crypto credit cards here yet?

Anyone dreaming of spending their precious Satoshis will soon have every chance to do so with FTX's Visa card.

FTX wants to launch credit cards

Despite the sideways trend in the Bitcoin market, FTX is diligently pushing out its crypto products. According to a press release, the exchange plans to launch cards that let customers spend Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies at checkout. To do this, the exchange is teaming up with payment processor Visa in the Bahamas.

Europe is also getting the product

In addition to a focus on Latin America and Asia, Europe is also being considered at the product launch. "At Visa, we believe digital coins will have a lasting impact on the future of financial services and monetary transactions," says Cuy Sheffield, Head of Crypto at Visa.

According to the press release, the Visa card will be linked to the FTX account. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will be deducted directly from the account at checkout. Visa has 80 million certified merchants. With the FTX Visa card you can pay almost anywhere. The waitlist for the credit card is already open.
