Crypto Investor Dan Tapiero: Crypto Market Jumping to $50 Trillion

Crypto veteran and investor Dan Tapiero merges his two existing growth funds, 10T Holdings (10T) and 1RoundTable Partners (1RT), into a single new vehicle: the 50T Fund. The name is far from random. Tapiero predicts that the total market capitalization of the crypto sector will explode to $50 trillion over the next ten years.

For comparison: today the total market cap of the crypto market sits at about $4 trillion. In his forecast, Tapiero counts not only pure cryptos but also publicly traded companies in the sector, such as Coinbase and the Bitcoin Treasury company Strategy.

But the merger isn't the only news. Tapiero is also launching a brand-new $500 million fund: the 50T Fund V. This long-term investment is structured as a closed-end fund with a ten-year horizon. The focus is growth capital for companies active in blockchain tech, crypto-assets, and Web3 infrastructure. The first close of the fundraising is planned for Q4 2025.

Tapiero explains: “50T is an evolution of our original vision from 2020. Back then we started 10T believing the digital asset space would grow from $300 billion to $10 trillion in ten years. We’re now already $5 trillion above the pace we anticipated, so we’re scaling up our expectations.”

With the creation of 50T, Tapiero is laying a solid strategic foundation for the next growth phase of crypto—not just as an asset class, but as a full-fledged part of the global financial system.
