After the recent price gains in the crypto market, investors are taking profits. The prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum and the rest of the market are falling.

Profits were widely taken in the crypto market. In a daily comparison, total market capitalization fell six percent to $2.7 trillion.

Bitcoin fell about seven percentage points to just under the $70,000 mark. At press time, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization was trading at $68,484. Bitcoin is up two percent this week.

After the Dencun upgrade Ethereum is down about six percent in the past 24 hours to $3,744. The weekly balance is also negative with a price loss of four percent.

Of the ten largest cryptocurrencies, Dogecoin recorded the largest decline: about ten percent.

Solana, on the other hand, is the only one of the top 10 to post daily gains. With an increase of about seven percent, the SOL price rose to $180.
