DeFi exchange Uniswap also available soon on Polkadot

The decentralized exchange Uniswap is getting a Polkadot version through the Moonbeam network. This was decided by the community during the last round of voting. The decentralized exchange (DEX) made the announcement via Twitter.

In about a month, the DeFi-exchange to make its services available to Polkadot users through Moonbeam. The decision to move to Polkadot as well was passed unanimously. Moonbeam is a Layer 1 parachain of Polkadot that provides full EVM-compatibiliteit and provides native interoperability. A parachain is designed to increase scalability in the network.

"Polkadot fits perfectly with Uniswap, whose users can discover the high performance, scalability, security and interoperability of the network", said Polkadot developer Omar Elassar. Meanwhile, the Uniswap community is already discussing the next step, which is layer-2 solution Base.
