Ethereum whales pile in big time

The Ether price has seen better days. Yet many Ethereum whales see a chance to significantly top up their wallets during the Ethereum dip.

According to View post on X, since September 11, 3.5 million ETH have been bought via Ethereum addresses that already hold 1 million ETH or more. The ETH holdings of Ethereum whales have thus risen by 14%! Currently there are 132 Ether addresses that contain 1 million+ Ether. If we compare this to the current Ethereum price, these investments are worth about $4.5 billion.

However, there is also the opposite trend visible among addresses storing 100 to 1 million Ether. According to Santiment, 3.3 million Ether were sold by these addresses, worth $4.2 billion USD.
