Franklin Templeton is the 20th largest asset manager in the world. The asset manager manages more than $1.4 trillion.

Now the U.S. company is stepping into the race for the first Bitcoin Spot ETF. A filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) confirms the plan.

According to the filing, the asset manager plans to issue an ETF managed by Coinbase.

According to corresponding media reports, there is no ticker symbol yet.

After BlackRock, Fidelity, VanEck, WisdomTree, Valkyrie, Invesco and Bitwise, another Wall Street giant, Franklin Templeton, now completes the round. The pressure on the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) continues to mount.
