IOTA launches its APAC Accelerator Program in Singapore

News from IOTA: the popular crypto project in Germany now wants to encourage tokenization of RWA. This will help start-ups.

Developed in partnership with fintech incubator Tenity, the program provides participants with funding, mentorship, networking, marketing and development resources. IOTA EVM's focus on the megatrend of real-world asset (RWA) tokenization aligns with the growing interest in bringing traditional tangible assets into the decentralized financial (DeFi) space. This new move is designed not only to diversify investment opportunities within the blockchain ecosystem, but also to close a critical gap between the TradFi and DeFi worlds.

According to the IOTA Foundation, the strategic decision to locate in Singapore is in line with Singapore's commitment to financial innovation and technological advancement.

"We have seen unparalleled talent and innovation in the APAC region", says Dominik Schiener, co-founder and president of the IOTA Foundation. The region also offers ideal conditions for an RWA tokenization accelerator program. IOTA and Tenity are looking for applications from early-stage Web3 companies that have minimal marketable products and want to usher in a new era of RWA, DeFi and institutional DeFi services, payments and infrastructure services.
