The biggest digital bank in Hong Kong wants Web3 support and is simultaneously working on a fiat gateway for crypto businesses.

In a press release from ZA Bank that they want to become the "settlement bank for regulated Web3 entities" in Hong Kong. The digital bank looks forward to collaborations with "major global Web3 companies like HashKey, OKX and others".

Ronald Iu, CEO of ZA Bank, says: "Opening an online account with ZA Bank is a big step for Web3 startups and the transition from traditional banking services." After the recent collapse of crypto-friendly banks in the United States, ZA Bank could offer more stability for crypto companies. Meanwhile, the special economic zone in Hong Kong could grow into a major international crypto hub.
