Mega-hacks on blockchain games are only a matter of time
Blockchain security firm Hacken warns in a new report of more mega-hacks on blockchain games.

Blockchain security firm Hacken warns in a new report about more mega-hacks on blockchain games. Cointelegraph reports this. Most GameFi tokens are so poorly secured that they don't even follow the "most elementary cyber security recommendations," the report says.
In total 31 GameFi tokens were examined. Not a single project received a top security score. On the contrary, half received the worst score. "GameFi projects [...] don’t even follow the most elementary cyber security recommendations, leaving plenty of entry points for malicious hackers," the report concludes.
The largest DeFi hack to date struck the blockchain game "Axie Infinity" this March. The damage: 615 million US dollars. Security experts blamed the team behind the project for gross negligence in security. Hacken is one of the better-known blockchain security firms. Notable clients include VeChain and CoinGecko.
