MetaMask integrates Ethereum transactions
Thanks to the MetaMask–PayPal partnership, U.S. customers will soon be able to buy and transfer Ethereum through PayPal's central payments platform.

The collaboration between MetaMask and PayPal will allow American customers to buy and transfer Ethereum via the central payments platform in the future.
The digital payments platform PayPal is teaming up with MetaMask's parent company ConsenSys to enable users to buy and transfer Ether. This is laid out in a related press release. Specifically, it states: "MetaMask will be the first Web3 wallet to use PayPal to drive more successful on-ramp transactions."
European users will have to wait a bit longer
The integration is initially available only to "selected PayPal users in the U.S." and would enable seamless buying and transferring ETH from PayPal to MetaMask. According to Lorenzo Santos, a product manager at MetaMask, the integration also helps explore the Web3 ecosystem. When the feature will be launched for European PayPal users remains to be seen. PayPal already enabled crypto transfers to external wallets in June. Read more here.
