Michael Saylor Gets Bitcoin Donations

Michael Saylor's email address has been integrated into the Lightning Network. Now the founder of MicroStrategy is receiving countless Bitcoin donations.

Michael Saylor has added his email address to the Lightning Network and is now receiving lots of small Bitcoin donations. On View post on X "People keep sending me 21 sats [Satoshi]."

With the "Lightning Address" protocol, users can replace a payment request with an identification code like their email address. It’s unclear whether MicroStrategy has rolled out the feature for all its employees. After Bitcoin climbed above the $30,000 last week, MicroStrategy joined the upside.

As of writing BTC is trading at US$29,684. That puts Michael Saylor's company back in the red.
