The U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia said in a tweet on Wednesday that they plan to charge Bitcoin advocate and tech billionaire Michael Saylor. According to the indictment, Saylor, with the support of his company MicroStrategy, underpaid his income taxes by about $25 million. His company is also facing a court case for being complicit in tax evasion.

Saylor, who recently stepped down as CEO, allegedly registered his address on purpose in the tax-friendly state of Florida. But he reportedly lived in a penthouse in D.C., and owed taxes there as well.

Saylor and MicroStrategy rejected the allegations in a statement. The company’s stock slid about 6% on Wednesday after the news broke.
