New Muse album drops on NFT platform Serenade

The English rock band Muse is taking a detour into the NFT world by releasing their View post on X as an NFT collection. "Will Of The People" will be released as an NFT on August 26, 2022. According to the band, the album will be available digitally, as a vinyl, and as a CD.

The NFT collection will be released on the Serenade platform and is reportedly limited to 1,000 copies. For the equivalent of 23.92 euros, you can download the songs as FLAC files. A feature of buying the NFTs: the files contain the musicians' digital signatures. Additionally, the names of all 1,000 buyers will be permanently visible on a digital list.

The NFT album is not Muse's first step toward blockchain. In 2020 the band teamed up with CryptoKitties to release their own collectibles.
