In the FTX scandal case, more than a billion dollars have surfaced, with roughly 720 million in cash. This was announced by the company on Tuesday during a court hearing.

The money is held in various banks in the U.S. Another 500 million dollars is in the Bahamas. Once the world’s second-largest crypto exchange, it has been bankrupt since November 2022: FTX is regarded as one of the "biggest financial scandals in history".

The crypto empire with 135 companies collapsed like a house of cards after forged balances came to light. Founder Sam Bankman-Fried is standing trial in the U.S. - for fraud and money laundering. He faces up to 115 years in prison.
