Ripple and Polkadot on the Rise

On the crypto market, gains from the past few days have been partly trimmed. Compared to the day before yesterday, the total market cap is up 2 percent to $3.36 trillion.

Bitcoin is up 2.4 percent and is trading just above $97,000. Ethereum, on the other hand, falls 0.9 percent to around $3,500.

Among the top ten cryptocurrencies by market cap, Ripple posted the biggest gain with a 14 percent rise. This pushes the Ripple coin to $1.59.

Cardano continues to perform reasonably well. In the last 24 hours, the ADA price has risen 7 percent to $1.06.

Stellar (+14%), Polkadot (+6.7%), and NEAR (+5.4%) are also higher. The top performer among the 100 largest cryptocurrencies is Virtuals Protocol, up 46 percent.

The biggest drop is seen in Celestia, down almost 4 percent.
