As FTX defendants plead guilty to the charges, Sam Bankman-Fried is in FBI custody and on his way to the United States.

View post on X the United States attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, has SBF left the Bahamas. "Samuel Bankman-Fried is now in FBI custody and en route to the United States." He is expected to appear before a judge in SDNY soon. This followed news about the ex-head of Alameda Research, Caroline Ellison, and FTX co-founder Gary Wang. Both have pled guilty to criminal charges.

Cooperation between Ellison and Wang

Williams said that both Ellison and Wang, in cooperation with prosecutors, planned to press further charges against others. He then urged: "If you’ve engaged in wrongdoing at FTX or Alameda, it’s time to come forward now."

SBF was recently jailed in the infamous Fox Hill Prison in the Bahamas.
