Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has announced on Twitter that he has been invited to collaborate with the World Economic Forum.
The lead developer of the memecoin Shiba Inu, known by the pseudonym Shytoshi Kusama, asked the SHIB community in a View post on X to say whether they'd like to see a collaboration between Shiba Inu and the World Economic Forum (WEF). Earlier Kusama had announced that the WEF had invited Shiba Inu to the economic summit.
The vast majority of SHIB supporters were in favor of the collaboration.
"We'd sit at the table with policymakers and help shape global policy, alongside other giants like Facebook, Sand, Decentraland, etc," Kusama said.
With projects like "View post on X" or "Canyon," Shiba Inu aims to strengthen its position in the metaverse and show that the memecoin can offer more than a Dogecoin knockoff. A partnership with the World Economic Forum would weave the company more closely into politics and business.
