Strategy bought another 811 bitcoin between October 26 and November 1 for about $65.5 million (€58.6 million). The average price was $80,846 (€72,400) per BTC. That pushed the company’s total holdings to 849,327 BTC, equal to more than 4% of the maximum bitcoin supply.

New Purchase Funded by Stock Sales

The purchase was funded with proceeds from selling MSTR shares through an at-the-market program. During that period, Strategy sold 1,178,552 Class A shares for about $164 million (€147 million). According to the filing, there were still $18.62 billion (€16.7 billion) in shares available for issuance and sale under that program afterward.

The company bought again last week after briefly pausing its purchases. Along with the bitcoin buy, Strategy repurchased nearly 2.1 million STRC preferred shares for about $208.2 million (€186 million). It used its USD Cash reserve for that. Another $43.4 million (€38.8 million) from the USD Reserve went toward dividend payments on preferred stock.

Large Bitcoin Position Keeps Growing

Strategy says it bought its bitcoin stash for a total of about $64.1 billion (€57.4 billion), at an average price of $75,451 (€67,500) per BTC. The current value of that position is around $65.9 billion (€59 billion), according to the company. That shows how heavily the crypto company’s balance sheet now leans on Bitcoin treasury.

Earlier this week, Strategy also reported net income of $19.5 billion (€17.5 billion) for the third quarter. A year earlier, that figure was $2.79 billion (€2.5 billion). The jump was mainly tied to a $20.9 billion (€18.7 billion) book gain on its bitcoin holdings. At the same time, Michael Saylor said banks are embracing Bitcoin and that institutional demand is back, while he framed the recent price move above the 200-week average as a sign of a new bull market.

Relevant for European Readers

For European crypto followers, the key point is that Strategy keeps showing how large a publicly traded company can make its Bitcoin position through capital markets financing. The company combines share issuance, preferred stock, and cash reserves to buy more BTC, making it one of the clearest examples of a corporate bitcoin treasury model. That can also matter for investors tracking how big companies structure their crypto exposure. Earlier, the mix of fewer new purchases and more STRC buybacks already showed how Strategy keeps adjusting its financing and capital structure.
