SUI, Altos, and Avalanche Token Unlocks in November
Token unlocks often stir mixed feelings among many investors.

Token unlocks often stir mixed feelings among many investors. While releasing locked tokens can, in the long run, contribute to decentralization and project development, the short-term focus is often on selling pressure. Especially with large unlocks, an oversupply is at risk, which can lead to falling prices.
Also in November, several unlocks are planned. Below are the main unlocks of the month: SUI, IMX, MEME, APT, and AVAX.
Sui (SUI): 64.19 million new SUI tokens on November 1 Like every month, SUI is again on our token unlock list. On November 1, about 64.19 million SUI tokens will be released, valued at roughly $109.13 million at the current price. That amounts to about 2.32% of the circulating supply.
Although SUI has faced a lot of criticism for its tokenomics — 72.37% of the tokens are still locked — the project is seen by many as one of the most promising in this cycle.
Avalanche (AVAX): Small token unlock on November 24 On November 24, 1.67 million AVAX tokens will be released, worth about $43.62 million at the time of writing. As shown in the chart below, Avalanche has already had the largest token unlocks; the next unlock will account for only about 0.41% of the total circulating supply.
On the one hand, selling pressure from the extra unlocked tokens could temporarily push AVAX prices down. On the other hand, Avalanche has built a stable demand base through continued expansion of its dApps and partnerships that could absorb the selling pressure.
As a popular Layer-1 blockchain and Ethereum competitor, Avalanche is heavily used, especially in DeFi applications and NFT space.
Aptos (APT): $101.83 million extra on November 12 The upcoming Aptos token unlock is worth about $101.83 million, making it one of the month's biggest unlocks. On November 12, 11.31 million APT tokens will be released, distributed to several recipients, including core development teams, investors, the community, and the Aptos Foundation.
With the larger amount of new tokens in circulation, there’s a risk of stronger selling pressure, especially since 13.48% of the token allocation goes to early investors, who could see sizable gains compared to current prices.
Aptos is a Layer-1 blockchain developed by former Meta employees, focused on high scalability and security. The blockchain uses the specially developed programming language Move.
