Swiss fintechs tokenize SME loans

Swiss fintechs Teylor and Taurus announced the issuance of SME loans on a blockchain infrastructure. The securities will be admitted to trading on Taurus' regulated marketplace, making them accessible to institutional investors. The tokenization of SME loans offers investors "monthly cash flows." according to a press release.

"Our loan portfolio of high-quality SME loans is financed through private transactions with major financial institutions," explained Teylor CEO Patrick Stäuble.

"Teylor's ledger-based security now allows investors to invest smaller amounts and trade the token on our regulated TDX marketplace," added Lamine Brahimi, co-founder of Taurus.

Taurus, a subsidiary of Deutsche Bank, launched its digital asset platform in 2018 and has a securities trading license regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA).
