USA crypto exchanges offer XRP again

Following the success of the lawsuit against the SEC, several U.S. crypto exchanges are reinstating Ripple's own token, XRP. The trading venues View post on X.

Exchanges include: Binance.US, Coinbase or Kraken Pro. Gemini, the Winklevoss twins' crypto exchange, is also considering a View post on X. Following the SEC's December 2020 lawsuit, trading platforms delisted the coin on suspicion of an unregistered security.

However, a New York court has now decided: XRP is not a security, at least when traded on crypto exchanges. However, the court did assess institutional sales and OTC trading as a security. The crypto industry was euphoric about the ruling. In addition to XRP, the prices of some altcoins went through the roof.
