Voyager Digital is in its final days. After the publicly traded lending service filed for bankruptcy, the Toronto Stock Exchange has now scrapped the listing. This comes from a document from the exchange.
Currently, the company's debts run about 1.1 billion USD.
Voyager still has claims worth up to 650 million USD against the insolvent hedge fund Three Arrows Capital. Repayment seems unlikely due to the hedge fund's bankruptcy.
Earlier, the lending service had already received financial backing of 500 million from Alameda Research, a company owned by FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried.
Voyager's bankruptcy can be traced to the Celsius crisis. The liquidity problems at the lending service triggered a chain reaction that pulled many crypto firms into the abyss.
