The Trump-family-launched crypto project World Liberty Financial (WLF) has received a $25 million investment from crypto market maker DWF Labs. At the same time, the company announced its expansion to New York City via an official press release. With this move, DWF Labs aims to work more closely with the traditional financial sector in the United States.
“The U.S. is the world's largest market for digital asset innovation,” said Andrei Grachev, Managing Partner of DWF Labs. “Our physical presence reflects our confidence in America as the next growth region for institutional crypto adoption.”
Grachev adds: “The USD1 stablecoin and the upcoming DeFi solutions fit within our broader mission to improve financial services.”
By purchasing WLF tokens, DWF Labs will gain a board vote as a governance staker, while also aiming to provide liquidity for the WLF stablecoin USD1.
World Liberty Financial is a DeFi project launched by the Trump family during the previous presidential campaign. The WLFI token presale already raised $550 million for the family.
Donald Trump’s sons – Donald Jr., Eric and Barron – are named as Web3 advisors of the project. The family actively promotes WLF on social media and at public appearances.
The platform launch is planned for Q3 this year, with a fully diluted valuation (FDV) of a whopping $1.5 billion.
