XRP's all-time high isn't off the table yet

The Ripple coin (XRP) is taking a hit in the crypto market right now. While Bitcoin is rebounding above the $118,000 level and Ethereum is slowly rallying, XRP is down about 10% in 24 hours to $3.10. Still, Lukas Enzersdorfer-Konrad, Bitpanda's deputy CEO, says there’s no reason for Ripple investors to panic yet.

“Another move above the current all-time high would not be surprising — as long as market conditions stay favorable and Bitcoin’s capital flow continues,” Enzersdorfer-Konrad told Cointelegraph. In his view, it remains hard to make precise predictions in a volatile market, but XRP's long-term outlook still looks positive.

That sentiment is being reinforced by a drop in Bitcoin dominance: from 64.5% last month to 61.2% today. Many analysts expect altcoins — especially Ethereum and XRP — to perform better than BTC in the coming weeks. The much-talked-about “Altcoin Season” appears to be nearing.

XRP had benefited from that earlier, rallying above $3.60 at one point. But the terrain is fragile: CoinGlass shows more than $93 million in XRP long positions were liquidated in a single day. Leverage traders took a big hit.

Still optimistic, the Bitpanda expert notes: “The question is whether this dynamic spreads to other altcoins as well. That will determine whether XRP’s rise is sustainable.” Ripple tends to react strongly to overall altcoin sentiment and the regulatory climate.

That’s why the approval of new U.S. crypto legislation, including the GENIUS Act, was an important positive driver. And the real game changer? Analysts say it could be the approval of U.S. XRP Spot ETFs.
