Atomic Wallet wants class action lawsuit dismissed

The hack on Atomic Wallet was almost six months ago. Then about $100 million from the platform. About 5,500 users were affected. A short time later, some of them filed a class action lawsuit (or class action) in the U.S. state of Colorado. Among other things, they accused the administrators of serious security flaws in their protocols.

The Estonia-based company behind Atomic Wallet made an attempt last Thursday to dismiss the lawsuit. In the letter, the developers emphasized that they had "no ties to the US." In addition, the terms stated that any litigation would have to take place from Estonia.

The users would have agreed to this agreement. It stated that Atomic would only be liable for loss or theft of cryptocurrencies up to a maximum of $50 per user.
