Algorand is the target of several cyberattacks.
The Algorand ecosystem is under fire: security flaws were recently disclosed at both the crypto exchange Algodex and the MyAlgo wallet, which attackers appear to be exploiting.
The MyAlgo wallet team is now asking users in a tweet to withdraw their funds or move their money to new accounts ASAP!.
In February a security vulnerability had already been warned about. In the meantime, Algodex announced that a hacker had gained access to the company's wallet. "The exploit appears to mirror recent incidents in the Algorand ecosystem", View post on X.
Tokens worth about $55,000 were stolen. Users reportedly were not affected. Currently, the ALGO price has fallen by just over 4% since the announcement, the ALGO price.
