Several attackers have already exploited a bug in the DeFi protocol Ankr's smart contract.

The DeFi protocol Ankr was today, December 2, the victim of an attack in which nearly $5 million was stolen. The blockchain security firm PeckShield View post on X said the smart contract for the aBNBc coin had an "unlimited mint bug". According to the report, the exploiter holds about 900 BNB, 3,000 ETH, and USDC worth around $500,000.
