Cardano chief Hoskinson believes Elon Musk's Twitter takeover by the tech magnate could attract millions to cryptocurrencies.

Adoption could accelerate

At Web Summit 2022 Hoskinson spoke about the Twitter takeover by Elon Musk and what it means for the crypto industry. The crypto pioneer said adoption in the industry would accelerate. That thanks to Elon Musk and the possibility to bring digital assets - such as Dogecoin (DOGE) - to Twitter's nearly 250 million users, a new boost for the crypto industry could be within reach. "It's just crazy how big these things are. There are now 300 million cryptocurrency users worldwide... from zero to 300 million in 13 years."
