The odds of several altcoin ETFs getting approved in the US soon have risen to a whopping 95%, according to Bloomberg analysts Eric Balchunas and James Seyffart. The frontrunners include Litecoin (LTC), Solana (SOL), and, of course, Ripple’s XRP.

Just two weeks ago, the ETF specialists pegged the odds at 90%, but that estimate has been updated. “We expect a wave of new ETFs in the second half of 2025,” Seyffart said on X.

Dogecoin, Cardano, Polkadot, and Avalanche also look like strong contenders for ETF-style listings, though the current odds for these coins sit around 90%—not bad for a sector long ignored by regulators.

A notable detail: Canada beat the US to the punch with XRP Spot ETF approval. The race is on, and whoever moves first could grab the momentum.

Will 2025 be the year altcoins finally enter Wall Street? The odds are looking better than ever.
