On the road to the merge, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) is catching up to the Bored Ape Yacht Club on OpenSea.

Now Ethereum on its way to the merge, the demand for Ethereum Name Service NFTs has surged recently. On OpenSea, ENS domains are currently leading the rankings of the most traded assets.

According to the marketplace, about 9,500 ENS domains were sold in the past seven days at a floor price of 0.01 Ether. That puts the Ethereum Name Service ahead of the Bored Ape Yacht Club on OpenSea.

The Ethereum Name Service is an ETH protocol used to create decentralized names for crypto wallets and websites.
