Etherscan acquires Solscan

The best-known Ethereum explorer acquires Solscan. Etherscan also announced the "integration of additional useful features."

The Ethereum-blockexplorer Etherscan has the Solana-data service Solscan acquired.

"We are pleased to announce that Solscan.io, a leading block explorer for the Solana ecosystem, has joined Etherscan," the company said in a statement.

Solscan went live in 2021 and serves more than three million users per month.

Like Etherscan, Solscan also displays information about addresses, tokens and transactions. NFT metadata is also available through the service.

"The Solscan team has proven their expertise over the years by delivering detailed insights and analysis, said Etherscan CEO Matthew Tan. "Their expertise in making blockchain data accessible and user-friendly also fits perfectly with our mission at Etherscan."

Etherscan also announced the "integration of additional useful features" and a "more seamless user experience."
