Don't fall for circulating paper wallets, as shown by a string of scams in Australia. The New South Wales Police warned about this on social media.

According to the report, paper wallets with QR codes were handed out on the streets in the Australian state. As soon as the code is scanned, the person is asked to click the link to access a crypto wallet with a balance up to A$16,000.

Individuals are then asked to pay a transfer fee "to move the funds to their crypto wallet and also to record their login details".

Once the fees are paid and the information is provided, "the person's cryptocurrency is stolen from their crypto wallet" cryptowallet.
