The Hedera Hashgraph blockchain network has fallen victim to a hacking attack. In addition to liquidity pools, decentralized exchanges have also been affected.

Hedera Hashgraph has fallen victim to a hacking attack. The blockchain project announced in March View post on X. The attackers exploited a vulnerability in the mainnet's smart contract code. They then managed to drain investors' tokens from the pool.

Numerous liquidity pools affected

There is currently no exact damage assessment. Among the affected are numerous liquidity pools and decentralized exchanges. On-chain activity was temporarily halted.

In general, hacks in the crypto space saw a surge in 2022, according to the American analytics firm Chainalysis.
