Holograph hacked: HLG price crashes

A hacker has managed to steal a billion tokens from the cryptoproject Holograph. As the development team announced on X, someone gained access to the "operator contract." This allowed one billion additional tokens to be created and the hacker immediately recorded them.

The tokens were worth the equivalent of US$14 million after the attack and are now worth about half that amount. After the incident became public, the price plummeted. The price of HLG is currently down 50 percent from the previous day.

Holograph has since "contacted law enforcement agencies" and "launched an investigation." View post on X.
