It sounds like a story from the 1990s: a wealthy collector is spending millions on a special Pikachu, the world-famous mascot of Pokémon. But now Logan Paul wants to mint the famous trading card as an NFT.

$5,275,000 USD is the price for the world's most expensive Pokémon card. This amount is now officially confirmed. Guinness World Records has audited and certified the transaction between an anonymous collector and YouTuber Logan Paul. Originally there were only 20 of these Pikachu Illustrator cards produced, with only one considered intact and thus carrying a PSA 10 grade. It is this card that Paul has acquired.

But that’s not all. Fans can buy a portion of the Pokémon card on the NFT platform View post on X. For 10 cents per share, collectors can own stakes in the card. Paul, however, keeps 49 percent of the value. Of course the physical card remains in his possession.
