The popular multi-chain wallet MetaMask has received an extra security feature with its latest update. Thanks to the update, users are now better informed about the signing of individual transactions. The update 10.18.0 includes a graphical enhancement that gives users a clearer view of which authorization is linked to the release of the transaction.

In recent months there has been a rising number of scams via social media, causing MetaMask users to lose NFT and crypto worth tens of millions of U.S. dollars. While this update does not offer absolute protection against future scams, it greatly improves the clarity of transaction approvals.
