MicroStrategy Takes It a Step Further

MicroStrategy has bought another 1,045 BTC in the past period. The software company led by Michael Saylor now owns a total of 140,000 bitcoins.

These 140,000 BTC are worth about four billion dollars at current value. MicroStrategy bought the new batch of bitcoins between March 24 and April 4 at an average price of 28,016 dollars per bitcoin. View post on X

Last month, the company announced it bought 6,455 BTC for about $150 million. Bitcoin bull Saylor cited a motive to “spur the development of the Lightning Network.”
