The NFT project "Lucky Star Currency" was supposed to bring horoscopes onto the blockchain. But instead of reaching for the stars, the developers apparently siphoned money from users.

The NFT project "Lucky Star Currency" was likely an exit scam, as the security firm Certik View post on X. The developers of the project apparently stole money from users.

More than a million dollars in tokens from LSC were released from the smart contract by a developer. The funds were then converted into the stablecoin BUSD through the decentralized exchange Pancakeswap.

De wallet to which the stolen money was transferred, has received BUSD from several sources in recent weeks. It is possible that these are further ongoing scams.

Lucky Star Currency is a Chinese NFT project. The website is no longer accessible.
